Théâtre La Coupole asked me to create a bright, colorful video that would represent their programming, with a specific emphasis on incorporating themes of travel and dreams, while catering to their younger audience.
I used the "Around the World in 80 Days" concept to craft a quirky narrative that propels the video forward. By following cars, rockets, and submarines in every direction on the screen, we aimed for a fun combination of anticipation and surprise. This created a fun mix to speak not only to younger people in an uncondescending way but also to connect with their parents.

"For the past few years, we've entrusted Christophe with creating Théâtre La Coupole's seasonal trailer. He effortlessly grasps the essence of the upcoming season, selects compelling images from the provided material, breathes life into them, and elevates their beauty.
As early as the storyboard phase, we sense that we’re on the right track. Incredibly creative, Christophe consistently brings forth innovative ideas, making each collaboration a delightful discovery. Working with him is also reassuring. The fact that he meticulously planned and consistently followed work schedules provides a sense of stability.

Storyboard
With loads of imagery from the client to work with, this storyboard helped a lot in pre-selecting the footage we wanted to include.

Styleframes
A handful of stills helped us to decide in which direction to take the designs, and what to be mindful of. This version of the submarine down here, for example, was cut because it ended up being too militaristic.
