LAB M50x

LAB M50x lets fans design their unique colorway for Audio-Technica's top-seller, the ATH-M50x headphones. The winning design transforms into a limited edition product. Crafted in collaboration with monopo Tokyo, the campaign saw almost 10,000 designs created within the first week alone.
I had the chance to help figure out how all the main messaging and concepts would come together through animation. Inspired by the real-world interactions you make on the platform, we aimed to create a snappy video that clearly informs the audience while keeping it engaging until the end.

"Christophe joined our team in a freelance capacity to create some motion graphic assets for a global campaign, and I only have positive things to say about the experience. His approach to the brief honoured our creative treatment whilst offering plenty of helpful suggestions to make the content more dynamic and impactful. He worked very quickly, often delivering ahead of schedule and his communication was clear and friendly throughout. Above all, Christophe is a nice guy and his friendly nature and witty sense of humour makes working together a pleasant experience. I look forward to our next opportunity to collaborate."
Going Places
As part of a global campaign, we adapted our video for different language markets.
Humble beginnings
As not to lose any precious time or risk going over budget. We presented a rough version of the animation to audio-technica to sign-off on, before getting into the labour-intensive details.
